Time: Start instruction at 9 am - 3 pm (May end earlier if you choose to work through lunch hour)

Brief Description: The workshop will cover the basics of researching and applying for grants. Participants will learn how to make sure their organization is grant-ready, how to research and vet potential funders, how to cultivate relationships and steward grant funders, and the fundamentals of proposal writing. Participants should expect to develop basic grant research and writing skills.

Bio: Betty Barnard, MNPO, GPC, is the co-founder of Resurgens Impact Consulting. She has a true passion for grants and securing funds for health and human services. Betty is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association and Association of Nonprofit Professionals. She has raised nearly $42 million and counting through government, private, and corporate grants.

Refund Policy:

Written requests for refunds must be sent to admin.naswga@socialworkers.org 

(In Subject Box Write - “Workshop Refund Request”)

Refunds will be issued following a written receipt of a Refund Request according to the following schedule:

1. For cancellation requests received 14 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 75% refund of your registration fee.

2. For Cancellation requests received 10 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.

3. NO refunds will be issued for any reason: 7 business days prior to the scheduled workshop.

4. NASWGA regrets that refunds will not be given for “no-shows.”
