Test prep workshop for both LMSW and LCSW test candidates.

Registration includes a Test Preparation Guide. Do not pre-purchase the test prep guide.

Facilitator: Dawn Apgar, Ph.D., LSW, ACSW

For 20 years Dawn Apgar has been helping social workers pass the ASWB Licensure Examination! In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs.

Dr. Apgar has researched licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state’s social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors. In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the social work field.

No Continued Education Hours will be offered during this event.

***Clark Atlanta University, Whitney M. Young, Jr., School of Social Work students, alumni, and the facility must bring school id on the day of the event at sign-in. Only 30 CAU student seats are available.

Refund Policy:

Written requests for refunds must be sent to admin.naswga@socialworkers.org (In Subject Box Write - “Workshop Refund Request”.

Refunds will be issued following a written receipt of a Refund Request according to the following schedule:

1. For cancellation requests received 14 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 75% refund of your registration fee.

2. For Cancellation requests received 10 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.

3. NO refunds will be issued for any reason: 7 business days prior to the scheduled workshop.

4. NASWGA regrets that refunds will not be given for “no-shows.”
