Licensure Preparation Facilitator: Dawn Apgar, Ph.D., LSW, ACSW: For 20 years, Dawn Apgar has been helping social workers pass the ASWB Licensure Examination! In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs. Dr. Apgar has researched licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state’s social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors. In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the social work field. Parking is available on either side of the building. Parking is free and shared by UGA program participants and other building tenants. No parking decal is needed.

From Atlanta and I-85 N

• Take I-85 N.
• Take exit 109 for Old Peachtree Road.
• Turn right on Old Peachtree Road (0.2 mi).
• Turn right on Sever Road (just past the McDonalds).
• The UGA Gwinnett Campus in the Intellicenter building is straight ahead on the right.

From Athens and I-85 S

• Take Highway 129 through Jefferson to I-85.
• Take I-85 south.
• Take exit 109 for Old Peachtree Road.
• Turn left on Old Peachtree Road (0.3 mi).
• Turn right onto Sever Road (just past the McDonalds).
• The UGA Gwinnett Campus in the Intellicenter building is straight ahead on the right.

From GA 316

• From GA-316 traveling east or west, exit onto Duluth Hwy NW, GA-120 W, and travel northwest 1.9 mi.
• Take slight right at Sever Rd NW for 2.5 mi. The UGA Gwinnett Campus in the Intellicenter building is on the left.
