Registration: Will open  April 10, 2020, and close April 27, 2020. After registration has closed. We will send the webinar link and supporting documents. 

Overview:  Clinical Social Workers who work with children have to make critical decisions regarding clients’ presentations and possible pathology.  This workshop will review the DSM V’s diagnostic criteria of Neurodevelopmental disorders that classically are diagnosed in childhood.  Major categories that will be covered include: Intellectual Disabilities; Autism; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Expressive/Receptive Language Disorders; Learning Disorders and Movement Disorders.  Included in the discussion will how to incorporate an understanding of the child’s presentation in the context of bio-psycho-social evaluations.  

Bio:  Moshe R. Manheim LCSW has been working as a psychotherapist for over 37 years.  Moshe works with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults with a specialty in working with people diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders, other developmental disabilities, and chronic medical and psychiatric diagnoses.  He has presented extensively in state and international forums and enjoys the supervision of developing clinicians.  In addition to his psychotherapy practice, he has extensive experience in teaching and supervision, multidisciplinary work, consulting, community networking and client advocacy.

Refund Policy:

Written requests for refunds must be sent to admin.naswga@socialworkers.org

Refunds will be issued following a written receipt of a Refund Request according to the following schedule:

1. For cancellation requests received 14 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 75% refund of your registration fee.

2. For Cancellation requests received 10 business days prior to the workshop: You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.

3. NO refunds will be issued for any reason: 7 business days prior to the scheduled workshop.

4. NASWGA regrets that refunds will not be given for “no-shows.”
