NASW-GA CALL FOR
2022 VIRTUAL CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS

NASW-GA seeks presenters to facilitate compelling live-streamed webinar
presentations around relevant and
emerging issues for our 2022 Virtual
Annual State Conference.  The 2022 Conference is "The Time is Right for Social Work."
These proposals may be for the facilitation of 1.5 and 3.0 sessions.  Our goal is to develop a burgeoning global network of of social work practitioners
seeking to immerse themselves in learning.  Our virtual format will benefit professionals, scholars, students, and those representing diverse industry sectors. All are invited to participate in a virtual experience where they will share insights, network, and establish partnerships to envision and shape the social work profession's future.

 

PROGRAM TOPICS

 The practice of social work requires knowledge of human development and behavior, social, economic, and cultural institutions, and the interaction of all these factors. NASWGA seeks presentations in various practice areas such as Child Welfare, Aging, Race & Ethnicity, Social Justice, Social Welfare, LGBTQ IA, Behavioral Health, Health, Clinical Social Work, Macro Social Work, Ethics, and Specialty Practice Areas for our Virtual Presentation Program. APPLICATION-PROPOSAL, REVIEW & SUBMISSION DEADLINE DATE

NASW-GA is constantly looking for merging scholarly presentations on topics that will create experiences that educate, engage and excite learners. Applications for the 2022 Virtual State Conference are being accepted from May 20, 2022 to June 20, 2022. A review and virtual interview process will be used to evaluate all applicants’ submissions. See below to obtain application.

CAMERA READY FOR YOUR VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
Interested in facilitating a virtual presentation, but you are uncomfortable using technology? Or you just have not had an opportunity to facilitate a virtual presentation. Still, you have an excellent continuing education presentation that you would like to share with social workers and other mental health professionals. Do not let a lack of virtual presentation experience or discomfort with technology deter you from applying to facilitate a virtual presentation. NASW-GA Staff will work with you to get you ready. Chapter staff will host technical rehearsals to prepare you and offer support during your 1st virtual presentation.
