Glossary of Legislative Terms | Tips for Effective Advocacy | Links of Legislative Interest

A critical component of NASW is our ongoing advocacy at the Federal and State levels. In Georgia, our presence is visible at the State Capitol and our voice is respected among legislators. We encourage our members to advocate for the profession of social work and our clients by being informed and involved in the legislative process. If you have a position on a particular issue affecting the social work profession or the clients you serve, please email the NASW-GA Chapter Office. You can help us address YOUR concerns by taking a few moments to contact us.
