NASW GEORGIA CHAPTER NEWSLETTERS
A connection to an electronic version of The Social Work Network, the NASW-GA quarterly newsletter, is sent to all student members unless they requested receiving paper newsletters by calling 770-234-0567 metro Atlanta; 1-877-234-0567 outside of metro Atlanta; or emailing naswga@mindspring.com.
RECOGNIZING AND REMEMBERING MENTORS
An important recognition program, conceived by President Jan Yates, debuted at the NASW-GA 21st Annual Conference. The purpose of the program is to recognize and remember those social workers who have influenced our professional development during our careers. Honor your mentor by purchasing a star with his/her name on it for only $5. The stars will be added to a perpetual display to be exhibited at each annual meeting, and the names will be listed in the newsletter and appear on our web site for at least one month. For $15, your mentor's name will also be engraved on a brass plate and placed on a plaque in the NASW-GA Education Center. Contact the Chapter Office for more information.

"Have you Been Selected to Participate in the Clinical Social Work Practice Information Survey?"
As you are aware from previous practice updates, NASW is participating in a practice survey with the American Medical Association and other health care organizations to improve reimbursement. We would like to obtain 100 per cent participation from clinical social workers.
